Project Focus
Assistive dialogue-oriented systems, so-called chatbots, have become increasingly prevalent in our daily lives. While some users trust such technology with sensible information, others hesitate to do so and refuse to rely on potential support. Existing human-technology trust approaches are still neglecting factors like users’ emotional states. That is why, we want to examine whether positive emotional states have an effect on trusting a faulty chatbot in a real-world setting.
